Bible Verse of the Day

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” (1 Peter 1:18-19)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Spring Flowers

Yay, the trillium are blooming! They are my all-time favorite flower. We went for a walk in the woods, and there were whole hillsides just covered with beautiful white blooms. I'm so glad to see the best sign of spring!

I love trilliums, and we were excited to find that we have a trillium that blooms near our front door each year! I have no idea how it got there, since I know it's illegal to pick or transplant them - the guy who owned the house before us was a landscape architect, so maybe he planted them from seed - who knows. For some reason we had two bloom this year, and they are just about finished.

Congrats on your morels, btw! ;P

Oh you lucky! I'd love to have trillium in my yard. They're in the woods across the river but that's too far to see without binoculars and who wants to look at flowers thru the binoculars, ROFL ;-)
