Bible Verse of the Day

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. My Song Shall Be of Jesus

My Song Shall Be of Jesus
Text written in 1875 by Fanny J. Crosby (1820-1915), adapted in 1973 by E. Margaret Clarkson, (1915-2008)
Sung to NYLAND, a Traditional Finnish Melody arranged in 1928 by David Evans (1874-1948)

Psalm 23:5, 6 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation."

V. 1 My song shall be of Jesus,
His mercy crowns my days,
He fills my cup with blessings,
And tunes my heart to praise;
My song shall of Jesus,
The precious Lamb of God,
Who gave Himself my ransom,
And bought me with His blood.

Luke 10:39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.

V. 2 My song shall be of Jesus,
When sitting at His feet,
I call to mind His goodness
And know my joy's complete;
My song shall be of Jesus,
Whatever ills befall,
I'll sing the grace that saves me,
And triumphs over all.

V. 3 My song shall be of Jesus,
While pressing on my way
To where my home shines glorious
In pure and perfect day.
And when my soul shall enter
The many mansions fair,
A song of praise to Jesus
I'll sing forever there.
