Bible Verse of the Day

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. O Master, Let Me Walk With Thee

Oh Master, Let Me Walk With Thee
Text written in 1879 by Washington Gladden (1836-1918)
Sung to MARYTON, composed in 1874 by H. Percy Smith (1825-1898)

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

V. 1 O Master, let me walk with Thee
In lowly paths of service free;
Tell me Thy secret; help me bear
The strain of toil, the fret of care.

V. 2 Help me the slow of heart to move
By some clear, winning word of love;
Teach me the wayward feet to stay,
And guide them in the homeward way.

V. 3 Teach me Thy patience; still with Thee
In closer, dearer company,
In work that keeps faith sweet and strong,
In trust that triumphs over wrong;

Proverbs 4:18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

V. 4 In hope that sends a shining ray
Far down the future's broadening way;
In peace that only Thou canst give,
With Thee, O Master, let me live.
